Released in 1986, Jim Henson released the Labyrinth. Possibly the best movie ever made. Why? David Bowie as Jareth, the Goblin King. Had anyone else been cast this movie would have been forgotten ages ago.

Paper Bag lunches

Today for the first time in years I packed my own lunch and brought it up to the school. And it was delicious. There's something really fun and quaint about a bag lunch. It gives one a feeling of importance. Of urgency. Of preparedness.
Oh yes bag lunch, we may have been separated for a while, but now we shall never part again. Shall we give it another go? We could be very good for each other.

Hating something that is popular

No one wants to be one of those people. You know the type. The one who mindless goes off ranting about how brilliant something is.

Now I'm not saying that things aren't allowed to be brilliant. I mean most everything I do is brilliant. I'm a phenomenon really. Get used to it.

But if everyone else is ranting and raving about how excellent the last episode of LOST is, or how much better "Breaking Dawn" is compared to "eclipse"- I have one message for you.

I don't care.

I just don't.

No amount of explanation can make me care any more for this book, tv show, movie. It's probably become a fanaticism for good reason (except for Twilight) I get the point.

Hence the hate. People feel giddy by going against the flow. Everyone else is freaking out over Twilight? Join the haters and make fun of them. Hate Lost? Make fun of those who wasted endless hours calculating and wondering what could happen next to the survivors of Oceanic... whatever. (Ps- I love LOST, but we haven't been talking in a while... Maybe I should call her up on the weekend)

Roller Coaster Tycoon

Either way, when this game was released, back in the day the PC was still a valid gaming console... (Ouch) and it pretty much ate my life. And I loved every minute of it.

I can't play it anymore or else you'll never see me again. And the third one let you go into 3D, and who wouldn't love that?

Mango

Few fruits are as tasty. They're delicious. Seriously. You eat one and the juicy deliciousness just stays with you forever.

The other day I had a mango drink which had actual bits of mango in the drink. It was thick and syrupy, but it was still super delicious. And I loved it.

I mean, it's a mango. What's not to love? Who hates mangoes? Communists and Popes, and are you either of those?

*Well some communists like mangos. So that's a good thing I guess...
